Blastball - (ages 2 - 5 yrs) starts April 14th 2012. Schedules and teams to be emailed out after the Easter Weekend. Uniforms to be distributed on opening day. Still plenty of room for more players. Anyone interested in coaching Blastball, please contact me at kimdirk@shaw.ca. Any interested blastball coaches may attend the Teaching for Tomorrow Coaching Clinic that is being offered on April 2, 2012. Please let Kim know that you are attending.
BASEBALL
Tball and Mini Minors - (ages 4 - 6 yrs) starts the week after Easter. Uniforms for tball will be distributed at their first practice time. Mini Minor uniforms are fitted to the players and they will be distributed team by team during that week. Schedules will also be distributed through coaches that week. If there is anyone still interested in registering, there is plenty of room. If they are any interested coaches or managers that have yet to sign up, please contact Kim. All Hampton Coaches or Managers are strongly requested and encouraged to attend the Teaching for Tomorrow Coaching Clinic that is being held on April 2, 2012. I have the manuals to give to all those that do attend.
Rookies - (ages 7 - 8 yrs) assessments on March 31st at 3:30 PM at Hampton. Teams will be made up the week starting April 1st and players will be contacted by their coaches by the Easter Weekend, if all goes well. Team practices, uniforms and schedules will be distributed through coaches during the week following Easter. Still plenty of room for this division if there are any players not registered yet. Coaches and Managers or any want-to-be Coaches or Managers please contact Kim and we are strongly requesting you to attend the Teaching for Tomorrow Coaching Clinic that is being held on April 1st, 2012. I have manuals for those that do attend.
Minors - (ages 8 - 11 yrs) assessments on March 31st at 1 PM at Hampton. Teams will be made up the week starting April 1st and players will be contacted by their coaches by Easter Weekend. Team practices and uniform will be distributed through coaches during the week following Easter. The schedule is an interlock schedule and may not be ready before the 15th of April. Still room in this division if there are any players not registered yet. If there are any interested coaches or managers that have not applied, please contact Kim and we are strongly requesting that you attend the Teaching for Tomorrow Coaching Clinic being held on April 1, 2012. I have manuals for all those that do attend.
Majors - (ages 9 - 12 yrs) assessments/tryouts Mar 31st at 10:30 AM at Hampton - all players interested in Majors MUST attend. All coaches and managers must attend. Teams be will determined shortly after the 1st of April. There are 3 teams. Requests for specific teams, coaches or friends cannot be guaranteed as the 3 teams must be balanced however we do try our best. Anyone interested in assistant coaching on our major teams, please let Kim know. Teaching for Tomorrow Coaching Clinic will be held on April 1st and we request all those interested in coaching do attend. I have manuals for all those that do attend.
You will notice that in all divisions, the ages over lap and it is possible that your child is younger than the divisional age that he/she is wanting to play in or has been invited to assess for, i.e. 7 year old for Minors or 6 year old for Rookies, please attend the assessment that your child has been invited to.
There are no baseball clinics scheduled for this week. March 31st assessment/tryouts is the next scheduled event.

SOFTBALL -
Minors - (8 - 11 yrs) - We currently have more than enough girls for one team but not quite enough girls for 2 teams, so there is defintely room for more players. We are looking for possibly 2 team Managers and some coaches, please contact Kim if you haven't filled in your forms or if you would like to coach or manage but haven't applied yet. There will not be any scheduled practices during this week or on the weekend, however if one of the assistant coaches would like to get the girls out, I would happily email them all for you, just let me know. The Teaching for Tomorrow Coaching Clinic for this age group is this coming Sunday and Hampton strongly recommends that all their coaches attend. Please let Kim know if you will be attending, I have manuals for you.
Majors - (10 - 12 yrs) - We currently have more than enough girls for one team but not quite enough girls for 2 teams, so there still is room for more players. Hampton will be hosting the Major Canadian Championships at the beginning of August and our tournament team for Majors will be the host team. We do have a Manager for the Major team but still require coaches, please contact Kim if you are interested as there are forms that need to be completed and submitted. The Teaching for Tomorrow Clinic for this age group is on April 1st and Hampton strongly requests that all their coaches do attend. We have manuals for those of you that do.
Juniors/Seniors - (13 - 16 yrs) - Again we currently have enough players for one team but not enough for 2 teams, so room for more players. Hampton will be hosting the Junior Canadian Championships at the beginning of August and our tournament team for Juniors will be the host team. We have a Manager for this level but again require coaches and certainly if we form a second team will require a Manager/Coaching Staff as well.
