Why Sponsors are critical to the success of

the Hampton Little League Program

 

We are a non-profit organization whose mission is "to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball”. 

Hampton Little League places priority upon the concepts of fairplay for all participants. Everyone gets a fair share of playing time regardless of skill or age level. Our players put into practise and often recite the Little League Pledge before games. This pledge endows each player with a personal inspiration for them to “play fair, and win or lose, always do their best”.  

In addition Hampton Little League commits to supporting any family for whom finances are a difficulty. We never turn away any child because their family cannot pay. That is part of our commitment to give back to the community. At present we receive almost no government funding. So we really need help your help to make our program available to disadvantaged youth in the community.

Sponsors and donors are essential to making Little League work. Registration fees alone do not cover the expense of uniforms, equipment, insurance and other operating costs. In fact, registration covers only a portion of the annual cost of running the program. If every team is sponsored, we will have the financial resources to provide a great learning and playing environment for our kids.

Sponsorship of Hampton Little League is a wonderful way to show support for your community and the development of our young players. In addition to team related expenses such as uniforms, helmets, and catcher’s gear, there are expenses for coaching development, umpire training, umpires, and municipal park user fees. Our training budget ensures that coaches and umpires have the necessary skills to provide participating children with a safe, fun, positive, learning environment while helping them develop as young people and baseball players.  We also offer age-appropriate skills clinics so that boys and girls have the opportunity to improve at hitting, throwing and running.

These important parts of Hampton Little League would not be possible without the generous support help of sponsors and donors. Please consider if you, your work, or someone you know can help by sponsoring a team.
