Hampton Little League was formed in 1956 and has been a prominent force in youth sports since that time.

Our MISSION STATEMENT:

Hampton Little League aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides

a high-quality Little League Experience, in which every athlete:

• Is coached using the principles of the Little League Double-Goal Coach
• Has fun playing the game
• Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
• Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field
• Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player.

We recognize coaches most directly make this possible, so we provide all coaches with the tools to succeed as Little League Double-Goal Coaches. We are committed to creating a culture in which coaches, parents, fans, umpires and athletes work together to achieve our mission

Our goal is and always has been directed to the development of youth Baseball and Softball within the Gorge/Burnside/Glandford/Esquimalt/Vic West/View Royal areas. We take great pride in our park and community and rely extensively on volunteer participation for our Little League program to succeed.

In keeping with the ideals of Little League Baseball and Softball, no child will ever be denied the opportunity to play regardless of their parents ability to pay, race, gender or skill level. Our program is open to those between the ages of 5 to 12 years for baseball and 7 to 18 for softball. We also run a toddler Blast Ball program for those that wish to have their children less than 5 yrs of age, participate in a non competitive and introductory form of Baseball in the presence of a real Baseball environment
