Managers, Coaches, Parent Helpers will require the following forms to coach at Hampton Little League:

1. Criminal Record Check - Please complete and take to the Saanich Police Department. Once they have completed the check, you will need to bring it back to Kim.
2. Cover Letter - Sign the bottom and take with your CRC to the police department, and there will be no charge for your check to be done.
3. Volunteer Form - This can be completed on line and printed off to be given to me or any HLL executive to forward to me. These forms are required by Little League Inc. for every volunteer in the League.
4. Coaching Application - Complete this form and return to me or any HLL executive so we can register you in our data base.

Rally Cap Program - All players aged 5 through 8 in Tball, Mini Minors, Rookie Minors and Minor Softball will

participate in the Rally Cap Program.

Big League Experience Coaching Clinic - Free to all Hampton Managers, Coaches, and helper Parents. There is an indoor portion on Friday March 26th, 2010 at Pearkes Arena from 6 to 10 PM and 2 outdoor sessions on Saturday and Sunday March 27th and 28th at Hampton Park.  Start time is 10:30 AM. Hampton strongly encourages all of our coaches to attend. Please register with Kim.

There is also an opportunity to certify through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) for the Initiation Level at the BLE clinic.  This requires participants to complete an on-line module as well as attend the Friday night classroom portion.  There is also a cost to the coaches for the on-line module as well as a $50 fee payable to Baseball BC due on the night of the classroom clinic.  Hampton does not cover these costs. 

Little League does not require their coaches to be certified however we do have many coaches that have on their own done so and speak highly of it.  Also, if you leave the Little League program, you will be expected to have certification if you are interested in coaching at most other programs.

To ensure that Victoria can host the Regional Certification (old level 2) on March 26th -28th  at Hampton Park, Little League Victoria requires a firm commitment of a minimum of 15 participants.

The fees would be:  $100 to Little League Victoria and $50 per module to Baseball BC…the Regional Certification includes modules 2, 3, and 4 (3 x $50).
