Umpires
The role of the Umpire in Little League Baseball is vital, for without them we would not have a structure to follow and games would be in a constant state of chaos.
Thanks to the many adult umpires that volunteer their time and effort, any child that wishes to learn this craft may do so. Children start out Umpiring games such as Mini-Minors and make a gradual progression all the way to Majors.
While many children may end their Little League career at 12, they can continue to come back and Umpire and further develop the skills needed to progress to a higher level.
